Prime One operates dealership detail departments
You have a dealership to lead.
The detail department shouldn’t be one more thing on your mind. We operate it inside your store, with a Prime One manager on site every day, so your managers can get back to selling and servicing cars.
Since 2021

How nearly every store found us
“They hire employees that care, respond immediately to our requests, and we no longer deal with quality concerns. They are the best detail company I have worked with in my 15-year dealership career.”
Nick Adcock · General Manager, Sport Durst Volkswagen/Subaru, NC
Why it matters
Your customer experiences one dealership.
They don’t separate sales from service, or finance from delivery. Detail is one of the last hands on the car before it becomes theirs.

Sales
Five o’clock delivery. The customer’s already here.

Used cars
Twelve weekend trades, and every day off the line costs money.

Service
A loaner out at noon, ready like it’s new.
Your sales floor has a sales manager. Your service drive has a service manager. Detail deserves the same: someone who knows the work and answers for it.
The difference
A department isn’t outsourced if your managers still have to manage it.
A detail crew
A detail department, run by Prime One
A crew
Shows up and waits for a list.
Prime One
Starts the day with your managers’ priorities.
A crew
Your managers supervise them.
Prime One
Our manager supervises them, on site, every day.
A crew
Quality depends on who came in today.
Prime One
Quality follows a written standard, and every car gets checked.
A crew
Someone calls out, and you’re short.
Prime One
Someone calls out, and the shift is still covered.
A crew
You hear about problems from customers.
Prime One
Problems get caught in the bay.
How it works
Someone accountable to you at every level.

Every day
Store manager
Runs your detail department on site: the order of work, the team, and the final check on every car.

Every week
Operations Manager
Walks the store, checks the work, coaches the team, and sits down with your managers.

One call away
Leadership
A direct line to the people who own the company, whenever something needs a decision.
Not because every day is perfect. Because every day is managed.
People call out. Volume moves. Priorities change by the hour. The difference is whether your leadership has to find the problem and chase it, or whether the people responsible for detail catch it, tell you, and handle it.
Your day, with Prime One
What your day looks like when detail is handled.
Your managers set the priorities. Everything after that is on us: full details, clean-for-delivery, PDI, lot refreshes, loaners, service washes and frontline presentation.

7:30 AM
Your manager sets the day’s priorities
Two minutes, then back to selling cars.

7:45 AM
You don’t brief anyone
Our manager runs the team, the schedule and the call-outs.

All day
Nothing for you to police
Every detailer trained on chemicals and protective gear before day one.

Before it leaves the bay
Your customer isn’t the inspector
Every car checked against one written standard.

4:45 PM
Your delivery happens on time
Your salesperson hands over the keys. That’s the moment that counts.
Results
You can hear the difference in what managers stop talking about.
Quality concerns. Constant follow-up. The small interruptions that eat a leadership team’s day. Three stores, three different problems, one result: managers stopped having to check. And the first dealership group we ever served is still with us.

Mazda dealership, South Carolina
Consistency without constant follow-up.
The work was getting done, but management still had to keep checking. We tightened daily communication and made ownership clear. The questions coming back to the desk got fewer, then stopped.
The biggest improvement was what managers stopped having to worry about.
Ford dealership, North Carolina
Reliability under pressure.
At low volume, weak spots hide. More cars brought them into the open. We strengthened daily leadership and set clear expectations, and the department started keeping pace with the store.
Busy dealerships don’t need more effort. They need fewer surprises.
Volkswagen & Subaru, North Carolina
Quality management could trust.
Quality had become one more thing management had to watch. We rebuilt it on people who care, immediate communication and real follow-through. The GM later told us recurring quality concerns were gone.
Confidence grows when quality stops needing attention.
In their words
We grow by referral.
“Prime One does not just clean our vehicles—they operate our detail department. They have become an extension of our dealership.”
Mark Dorey
General Manager, Mazda, SC
“Working with Prime One has allowed our managers to focus on selling cars instead of managing the detail shop.”
Bruce Reaves
General Manager, Classic Nissan, NC
“Prime One understands the level of presentation a luxury dealership requires. They consistently deliver vehicles that reflect our brand’s standard without requiring oversight.”
Ed Rast
Service Director, BMW & Mercedes, KY
Straight answers
What GMs ask us first.
If your question isn’t here, call. You’ll get a straight answer from someone who runs these departments every day.
What happens to the detailers I have now?
We’ll meet them. Good people are hard to find, and we’re glad to talk with anyone you’d like to keep. Everyone on the team works for Prime One and trains to the same standard.
Do I lose control of priorities?
No. Your managers decide what matters most each day. Our job is to make sure it happens, without anyone having to chase it.
How fast can you start?
You’ll get a start date in the written plan after the sit-down. It depends mostly on how many people we need to hire and train for your volume.
Am I locked into a long contract?
No. Our service agreement is short, written in plain English, and has a fair notice period on both sides. We keep stores by running them well.
What if a vehicle gets damaged?
We carry full commercial insurance for work on dealership vehicles. If something happens, we own it and deal with it directly and quickly.
What does it cost?
It depends on your volume and the team your store needs. After the sit-down you get a written proposal built around your numbers, with no surprises.
Not ready to talk yet?
Is your detail department being run, or just staffed?
Ten honest questions. Five minutes.

One less department to worry about.
You already have enough to manage. Here’s how we start.
01
Sit-Down
We sit down with you: what’s not working, your volume, what you expect. Then we look at the bay.
02
Plan
In writing: team size, who leads it, how work flows, what “done” means.
03
Transition
We hire, train and take over. Your managers get one phone number instead of a department.
